Sorry I'm late.
I enjoyed Coherence, it was pretty clear by the end what was happening, and fairly clever Sci fi idea.
I've seen Primer. Guess I'll join in that discussion later.

It's alright Aroura, better late then never. I like this film club and want it to become more popular. At the rate it's going though it looks like there's so few of us which is sad, I was hoping for a bigger turn out.

I think we should get a real member list, that way we can expect people to participate, and people will have more motivation to go out and watch the movie.

I'm sorry I wasn't as active, guys. I've been told that I was running this club as a dictator, though, so I'll gladly and silently join anything you guys want to do if you're still up for it and I hope that you are.

1. The movies that were suggested I had already seen. Enemy was interesting because I never saw it before.
2. Not a lot of people are doing it, and I thought more people from the thread EP originally made proposing the idea would join in but was disappointed.
3. It's hard to find a movie that can warrant a lot of discussion. There's not a whole lot of movies with multiple meanings, and it's pretty difficult to find one that will give different people different perspectives. Enemy was pretty good, but we still didn't get much discussion out of it. At least not as much as I had hoped
4. Neither I, nor anyone else seems to know what the best format for doing them is. Do we make a separate thread to ask people to watch it? Do we only make one thread? Do we give people notice before hand or let them watch it and instantly start discussing? What's the best option to warrant discussion?

Well.. i have a idea more or less we have that atheist forums group on steam and steam has a way of streaming so
one person could stream the movie and we all can talk while we watch it using the chat.

A real time I.R.C/Stream style be quite hard to manage, since were all in different time zones and in different countries. It's a good idea but, it would not work as it should. The system that does work is a thread based style. We're just having trouble getting more people in on the club. A lot of the better movies are in subtitles and not to many people are fluent with watching those types of movies, I even struggle with it sometimes to this day and I've been watching subs since I was I a teen and I'm close to thirty now. Even among the board here, most of us don't have the patience to sit through a four hour movie. Good idea though.
