I would change that to most of the times. Far removed from the people they're supposed to represent. Slightly worse in the USA with their rent a politician model. But only slightly, since being bribed quickly becomes the global standard. There have been some polls on which profession garners the least respect. It's politicians. Less respected than prostitutes.

Personally I would be hard pressed to name even a handfull of our national politicians being honest. Our current president falls into this rare category. Never been caught with his hands in the trough and always opting for humane solutions instead of playing to cheap populism. An agnostic, by the way, which didn't prevent people to vote him into office twice.

Anyone with enough time on their hands can come up with a conspiracy theory that most idiots will lap up.  My sister and second oldest son once made up a conspiracy theory that 'proved' Mary McAleese was behind 9/11.  Nothing but pure bullshitting they did to prove that anyone can 'prove' anything.

People tend not to claim they are conspiracy theorists. It's a label put on them for not accepting the mainstream media and official government explanation. When information is discovered by private investigators or investigative journalists if they come to a conclusion about anything other then what is the official story on anything they are labeled a conspiracy theorist. This is how the establishment controls the narative, and limits the information that reaches the masses. Most in the media know you cover the topics you are told to. Anything that doesn't match the narrative doesn't usually get past the editor. Bilderberg would be a prime example. Media heads are allowed to attend as long as they promise they don't report on it. Been going on for around 60 years where the elite of the western world with royalty and industry meet for a weekend, but very rarely talked about. Yet they spend time covering award cerimonies of Hollywood actors and sporting events.

I think it was 2008 when the press corps boarded the plane with Obama and then took off without him while he met with Hillary and Bilderberg in Chantilly Virginia.

It's not so much what the media say, it's what they are not talking about which is the real story. For those that think the media wants to cover and investigate, they don't realize what they are missing, so when someone talks about something that wasn't covered, they think it's made up because if it wasn't it would be front page especially if it involved criminal activity. Sadly, the media is controlled. 

Anyway Hillary is a criminal, and involved in a lot of things the media is scared to cover.
