It's for people who don't accept the surface skimming version of the MSM. I prefer the muckraking investigative journalists. They don't have those in the MSM. It's mostly watered down and sugar coated. On top of that they focus on stories they want the people to think about and ignore the inconvient information that doesn't fit the narrative they are pushing.

Anyone remember Emad Salem and the 1993 WTC bombing? He was the one working with the FBI to provide the terrorist the bomb. Instead of his plan to provide a fake bomb and carry out the sting, the FBI wanted to provide a real bomb so they could carry it out, and get the reaction from the public they wanted.
