Okay, prices may rise. If prices rise, then the $15/hr isn't going to go so far anymore. What do we do about that? Is it not enough to mean anything? Again, some people will lose their jobs, no? What do we do with these people? Is it not enough to matter?

What will happen to people who don't make their companies $15 in each hour they work? Surely this is going to force quite a few people out of work, no? Raising the minimum wage doesn't just make everyone richer. It has negative consequences and I'm asking you what you think will happen.

If you need a job I'll hire you.  That way you'll have a job and a steady income.  The thing is that I'm only able to pay you the original minimum wage of 25 cents an hour.  That's $520 a year for 2,080 hours of work.  If you meet all of your performance goals I'll give you a 5 cent per hour raise after 9 full calendar months.  You can start Monday morning at 6 a.m. Welcome aboard!
