Modern Torys are members of the Conservative party in the UK, the daughter of the Tory party. Tory comes from the Middle Irish "toraíocht" meaning bandit or outlaw, which comes from the verb "toraí" meaning to give chase. The modern Hiberno-English term "on the tear" meaning going out all night getting drunk has the same root.
Hope I haven't bored you to tears.

Ugh you're cute as fuck but put your fucking feet away. Nobody asked to see them on Snapchat.

I can deal with socked feet. It's bare feet I can't stand.
Although I do judge anyone who wears socks to bed. Sleeping* is the only time it's acceptable not to wear socks, it's too uncomfortable to wear them in bed.
* (and obviously like, swimming, at the beach and showering)

As soon as I get home my shoes come off and I spend the evening in bare feet (unless it's cold, when I put my slipper on - yes: I have slippers).

I'm probably going to sound like a hypocrite now, but I do wear flip-flops around the house (obviously not with socks). I can deal with people wearing those though, since then the feet just remain on the floor
I just hate people waving their bare feet all up in the air in peoples' faces, like this guy does on Snapchat all the time. Vile.

I'm feeling like, if someone waves a bare foot in my face, I'm going to bite a toe.
Yeah, I know, yuck. But I think it might be worth it...

I only wear socks when I have to. I wear my Rainbow flip flops until it's too cold, and even then I probably wait 2-3 weeks too long.
Otherwise, bare feet, son.
"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great
