I'm feeling pretty good after last night, when some very lovely people complimented my writing. I always feel so nervous and down on my work before people read it, so it's always goddamn amazing when the response is good.
Also, people like tentacles! That's neat.

I can't imagine why you would feel nervous. Your writing is excellent. I'm not working all week, so I plan to do a lot of reading

Truly talented people are often overly self critical and get down about their work. My brother Owen feels that way about his art. And THIS is an example of his artwork:

ETA:
my brother Owen Wrote:“Once there was a graphic design graduate called Owen, whose courage and resolution was firm. He glowed with enthusiasm and a youthful vitality (so he was told). He was looking for a point on which he could fix his creative eye.
A job in graphic design would suit Owen well…a job to brace his nerves and challenge his resolve! Inspirited by the many opportunities ahead, he whipped together a smart CV, to give the potential employer a foretaste of his modest and fresh talent.
If an encouraging voice might answer Owen, he would dedicate himself to this new enterprise, on the journey to prove himself as a talented young designer. And sure, he’d be a dogsbody at first, make a hundred cups of tea to quench his colleagues’ thirst…
So, with the greatest earnestness, our hero shined his shoes and prepared himself for an interview, with a portfolio of varied and interesting work tucked under his arm. “
I’m a smart and good-natured fellow, so I am told. You will find I hold myself responsible for an extremely high standard of work. I value my creative freedom, so I flex my creativity as often as possible- but I also recognise the importance of project management. I strive to produce original, striking and responsible design solutions. I am also naturally inquisitive and seek to learn new things to add to my repertoire. I can’t be summed up in a paragraph and I take that to be a good thing!

Last October I had an incident. I tried to get up from my chair at work, but my legs didn't respond. I ended up spending three days at the hospital. I walked out.
I've been getting massive headaches and black outs lately. I went back to my doc, and she sent me for a cat scan and mri.
I was taking a nap when I heard my phone ring. I open my eyes, but wonder if I really opened them because I saw nothing. I can't get up to find my phone, which seems to have fallen off the bed. It passes and I call back the number. My doc wants to see me. My appointment was until mid June. Fucken life, ey? (Freaking out mode)

Honestly, there's no reason to freak out just yet. I've been to plenty of doctor's appointments in the last year or so, and even the ones where the doctor calls and got us in earlier than scheduled didn't turn out to be super-damaging. For all you know, this could be a "we found this, which can be easily treated with this, but we wanted to get you on it sooner rather than later," kind of deal. Quick response does not mean as much as it ominously seems.
In any case, I hope it goes well for you. Sounds like you've had a really scary time of things.

Thank you. Yeah. Back in October they told me it was depression and they sent me to therapy lol! Now I'm scared it could be something else. I go see tomorrow. Thanks for the support.
