Swamps, seas, greek ruins.....sounds like Tarpon Springs. How cheap we talking?

It's the political equivalent of "It's okay to lie if it's for Jesus."

I guess I just don't see marijuana legalization as a civil rights issue. But, I do agree that the referendum is an important political tool. And I agree that it should never be used to decide extremely complex political/economic/societal issues.
"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great

But it is, since it's about what you are doing to and with your own body.

RationalWiki.com Wrote:One point that the eurosceptics frequently make is that British 'sovereignty' could be 'reclaimed' if we left the EU. Eurosceptics talk about how EU courts override British courts despite the fact that you can't have an international court if a local court can overrule it, and that's kind of the point. The UK has already been granted exceptions to EU rules in many categories like participation Schengen Area and the Eurozone. While "claiming back our sovereignty" may make a good soundbite, it doesn't really mean anything. The fear of Europeans having a say in how the UK is governed may also have some roots in europhobia. Another thing the Brexiteers conveniently forget is that the countries with free trade agreements with the EU (Norway, Iceland and Switzerland) but no membership have to accept the vast majority of EU regulations - including oft-maligned agricultural rules on the curvature of bananas - in order to gain access to the common market but have no say in them. The same would happen to Britain: Either they have to accept European rules or they can forget selling their products across the Channel. Not exactly what sovereignty looks like.

Italy will always be German's love #1, don't worry. It's built into our souls

Cheap as in I have a room to spare at my house and can cook for you
"Every luxury has a deep price. Every indulgence, a cosmic cost. Each fiber of pleasure you experience causes equivalent pain somewhere else. This is the first law of emodynamics [sic]. Joy can be neither created nor destroyed. The balance of happiness is constant.
Fact: Every time you eat a bite of cake, someone gets horsewhipped.
Facter: Every time two people kiss, an orphanage collapses.
Factest: Every time a baby is born, an innocent animal is severely mocked for its physical appearance. Don't be a pleasure hog. Your every smile is a dagger. Happiness is murder.
Vote "yes" on Proposition 1321. Think of some kids. Some kids."

I dunno man, "hey Britain is out of the EU why is their economy like shit?" Doesn't seem like too much of a complicated question.
Either that or I put too much faith in humanity as usual
Especially if Scotland gets its freedom, rejoins the EU and does particularly well because it's America's stepping stone into Europe and because all the EU nationals living in the UK atm move up here.

That's the one part of the show I really would enjoy. The South living in it's self elected poverty bubble and the North thriving. Maybe reactivate Hadrian's wall, Trump style.
