He didn't even bother to refute my points in my previous post.
No, I can handle him just fine. Its that fact that he just keeps rambling on as if you arent talking to him..that needs to be stopped or ban hammer time for spammed preaching.

God killed everyone on the planet except eight people, if The Bronze Age Goat-herders' Anthology of Campfire Tales for Boys is credible. You believe it is credible?

RDK, the burden of proof is on you. Not us.
Quote:I have been speaking about knowledge that I have been shown, and not a single one of you can refute my evidence.
What evidence? You haven't given any yet.
Quote:I know that it must be rocky ground to stand on, and that can make you angry.
Anger is on the other side of the table I think.
Quote:Prove me wrong.
The burden of proof is on you, not us. It's not my place to disprove. I simply reject.

I see your point, Rev. He doesn't even try to debate properly.
Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence - Carl Sagan
Mankind's intelligence walks hand in hand with it's stupidity.
Being an atheist says nothing about your overall intelligence, it just means you don't believe in god. Atheists can be as bright as any scientist and as stupid as any creationist.
You never really know just how stupid someone is, until you've argued with them.

You can always argue line by line with someone. If a single concept is to be proven, all of the working parts have to be understood as a whole. If you took a motor apart and tried to say that each piece would not make an engine, you would be right. But when all of the parts are assembled togeather, that is when the motor will run. Everything I present is just another working piece to assemble a picture as a whole. All the parts are evidences toward a bigger picture. It is just like assembling a puzzle. Youcant even figure out what it is going to be until enough of the parts are fitted togeather. Besides, this is not a contest for me. You can find any faults that you like. I am using the best reasoning with you that I can. If I have not made myself clear enough about this, it is because it is difficult to describe the elephant when you have not envisioned the working whole of it. No jokes please about the working hole.

You somehow conceive that an perfect engine has always existed, eventhough all you can show is a pile of bullshit parts. You become emotionally attached to your hellucinatory engine, and demand everyone ignore the obvious bullshit that you imagine to be parts of your engine, and accept that you have not only an engine, but which defies the bullshit of its supposed parts.
You are working with your hands, but without a working hole. You need to get yourself a working hole, so as to spare your hands.

What form does this 'sustaining' take and can you prove it? I have never understood this "bearded man" notion, as if God is a being who lives in the sky wondering what He is going to do next with His human pets, exerting great effort to bring about some state of affairs or another. To say that God is the sustainer is to say that every contingent being that exists is dependent on His necessary existence, nature and will. What kind of proof of this do you require?

Quote:What literature will you use?
Xtian shitwits have an answer for that one....to be trotted out when they think it suits them.
Quote:The criterion of embarrassment, also known as criterion of dissimilarity, is an analytical tool that Biblical scholars use in assessing whether the New Testament's accounts of Jesus' actions and words are historically probable. Simply put, trust the embarrassing material. If something is awkward for an author to say and he does anyway, it is more likely to be true
So when god wipes out the whole fucking world because he didn't know his "creation" would piss him off that is an embarrassment...and therefore true.
Personally, I agree with you. "God" never killed anyone because there is no fucking god. But his followers. What a bunch of murderous shits they are!

It is a funny thing about evidence. All we have is words to convey the idea or meaning of what we say. Apparently, you are looking for a sign. If you saw one, would you call that evidence? You could still reason that away too. God can give physical evidences if you like. Ask Him for the proof. I don't have any power to manifest to you from a distance. I've already told you how to get your evidence. ASK! I'm not God. Get specific and ask with a sincere request. Your best response will happen if you have someone elses interests to benefit too. When you get your answer, let me know. I love sharing miracles that other people have had happen to them. I'm not the only one who has experienced these things. Test this yourself. If you are honestly needing to know, you will have your proof, O.K.?
