I'm feeling like my mother can be cold and heartless.  I know she loves me, but she's been about the opposite of nurturing to me.

Oh, boy...The damage that parents can do and be none the wiser. 
If you try and talk about it, it's likely you'll just be made to feel guilty.

You might do well to not even bother; Accept that she is what she is, and nurture yourself the best you can.

She's changed in some ways but still seems pretty unemotional. It doesn't bother me most of the time, but I'm needing some support right now and she's not able/willing to step up.

I guess it wouldn't be so bad if my dad wasn't the same way, except worse.

That indeed sucks tremendously. It's not an excuse, but I suppose mothers and fathers are often just playing out the hand that dealt to them by their own parents. I'm glad you're able to garner from support from your honey, (a very, very beautiful lady, btw) and that you feel comfortable enough to discuss heavier stuff here at times, though. 

When I need support, all I'm able to do is to be still and commence with the staring off into nothing; I'm almost incapable of asking for help.

I was like that for three decades, took a lot of therapy to change.

I might be open to therapy...provided that it wouldn't be require me to talk.

That doesn't necessarily have to be part of it, though it usually is.

There are things I haven't told my therapist after nearly eight years of seeing at least every other week. I have trust issues it seems.

Could be trust issues. Or maybe there's a good reason you haven't shared those things, yet.

I've got a few tricks that I aim to try before considering the therapy route, I think.
Emptying this box onto my chest might be worth a shot.
