Um, excuse me, 90% of the American people - including most gun owners - want common sense gun control actions implemented.  The republicunts in Congress reply is "go fuck yourselves."

Don't try to put this on Obama, man.  He's there.  The populace is there.  One fucking party prefers gun company profits to life.

That makes no sense? You do understand that if you scare the shit out of cops all the time, nobody will want to become one in the future, then who do you call when you need help?

No, it is not enough to simply have bad cops arrested. Sure that should happen. But you need to address the economic conditions for the societies they work in, AND the budgets and training the cops themselves get. 

You know what a society without cops looks like? Somalia. Nothing but warring tribes.

I want cops. I don't want our flooded market of guns. Maybe cops wouldn't have to default to "shoot first" and "assume guilt" if they didn't have to fear a gun crazy society.

The vast majority of Japan's cops don't have them, because most Japanese don't own them, not because guns are illegal in Japan, they are not. But they don't worship guns like Americans do. Both cops and society over there go to jail or home safe at night because there is no fear between them.

You want bad cops arrested? GREAT, so don't listen to the bullshit "good guy with a gun" , because if every paranoid white person who screams "Obama's going to take our guns", that is that many more a cop has to face in public potentially. 

There are more guns than there are citizens in this country, and you'd expect a cop to face his job every day without being trained to fear and default to the tactic of assume the worst?

Every time we have a mass murder the gun factories lick their chops over the profits they make. Fear sells, gun death sells guns. And the gun factories love the fear between cops and society and the fear between blacks and whites. They love it.  

You want bad cops arrested? I do too. But you cant have it both ways, you cant rightfully ask for that but have long term conditions that train cops to fear society and society to fear cops. 

The only way you are going to less dead blacks and less dead cops, is to get the NRA out of the way. They are not a safety org, they are a profit lobby. And the gun factories sell to both cops and society.

The thread is about the entire issue. These issues are not separate, nor should they be treated as if they are isolated from one another.

It's possible for one to be outraged by cop killings and police brutality at the same time. I won't be boxed into a corner against either/ or. Can't we all just get along?
I still have hope that the next generation will judge each other "not by the color of their skin but by the content of their character".
