Do any of the native German speakers here recognise what type of accent the shooter on the carpark roof had? I'm really bad at spotting different German accents even though they really interest me.

He's got no obvious accent and that's the most important thing to point out. He's certainly not a foreigner. If he was the real deal, that is. That's still to be confirmed. The people shouting at him are Bavarians, calling him wanker in response to his claim to be German.

They're basing it on a red rucksack, as the one a possible attacker at the fast food wore. Nothing more. Investigation ongoing.

He was a German - Iranian duel national living in Munich.

So far I've gone from thinking it was an Islamic attack, to thinking it was a right wing attack, now I'm back at Islamic attack again.
