And where do these impulses come from, dare I ask?

Go ask a scientist, i'm sure they could answer you.
I very much doubt the answer would be a satisfactory one, scientifically or otherwise.

No you don't know that.

No you don't know that.

The answer doesn't have to be satisfactory to you.

I am not aware of any human being on this planet currently who can say they are 'absolutely sure', can say that they 'know' for sure about anything.

It's impossible to know something as an absolute, granted.
But you CAN come to a conclusion of reasonable certainty about things.

As for the topic in question, human nature, there is an entire field of scientific study on the topic. I believe it is called psychology...

Subjective morals are changeable and therefore weak. An absolute moral standard is fixed and therefore strong. You can't hope for justice from humans with a flawed moral perspective. Only God, who can know enough to make them, can make absolute morally just decisions.... which is why you need God in the equation. Otherwise there is no justice in your world.

Because he is just. If he wasn't just, then there would be no need for consequences.

This is where i ask how you KNOW this, and you say, the bible told you, then i refute it. This argument is going to go round in circles so let's just agree to disagree.

And i don't believe that there has to be 'justice'. I see no reason for this whatsoever other than it satisfies your conscience by thinking that bad people will get punished after they die.
As far as i'm concerned they don't, yes it's sad, but thats just the way i think it is.

No one is claiming to know anything. That was my point earlier.

I know this because it logically follows. I'm not talking knowledge from results, but knowledge from logical process.

This exactly proves the point above. Without a concept of purpose your life is sad and inhibited.
