You know why I like him? It's because he doesn't wave atheism like a flag. He talks about all kinds of stuff. Science as well as history and his personal life story, which is an interesting one. And most of all I like him for his humor.
I agree. I have spoken to him a few times on Facebook since I am (along with a few others) are helping him with his Phylogeny explorer at the moment. My only gripe is that he talks really fast, or is that simply me losing my mother tongue?????... It is incredible too that he creates all his videos with a green screen in his house, a bit like the old weather report and they really do look professional. I know he leans towards Evolution a great deal, but he does have experience in other areas, which makes him almost an all-rounder, more so than perhaps Laurence Krauss, though you can beg to differ...

Does he? I don't get that impression.

It isn't a real gripe, just that feeling that he does. It doesn't actually take anything away from the quality of the talks he is giving in his videos.

Don't be. Dillahunty certainly is one of the better and down to earth ones. If you like him, take a look at Aaron Ra. He's got a nice sense of humor in his presentations.
I've never heard of him before! Thank you for the recommendation; I'll check him out. [emoji846]

Here you go, a video which has led to a book that is coming out this November.

I made the unforgiveable mistake of calling him Aaron instead Aron. It's Aron Ra. He's good friends with Dillahunty and fights on many frontlines. Atheism, as far as I am concerned, the least important one. He's also big on individual rights and freedoms.
And for the record, and a snide remark I just have to make. I just like him. I don't admire him.

Off-topic abaris, but have you worked out the nursery rhyme in my signature yet?

To tell the truth, it's only now that I looked at it. I haven't worked it out at first glance. But it's a long time that I needed my french. Usually I can read it quite well, but there are some words in it in need of a second glance.

Of all the atheist speakers and debaters, I enjoy Sam Harris the least. I can't even put a finger on it, he's just not my type. I do like Matt Dillahunty's style a lot, it's just that like for abaris, TAE didn't hold my attention for too long even though it is a cool format and has nice hosts, to me it became a bit of more of the same after a while.
The fool hath said in his heart, There is a God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.
