You know what you have to do. Just do it.

I recommend a crash course of Greek-style pizza to break you in. In no time, you'll be an enthusiastic olive-chewing, mushroom slurping, sticking-your-face-in-melted-goat-cheese Mofo from hell!

And then -- maybe -- CD will let you back into the culinary circle of trust.

Yeah, I really wanted to like it more than I did.

I enjoyed it up to the point where it deliberately ruins itself, after that it loses steam.
I am John Cena's hip-hop album.

I don't hate bacon, but I'm tired of my roommate putting it on literally everything. Bacon and turmeric are both dead to me until I can recover. Some people should be banned from the kitchen.

Well of course - any good thing can be overused.

You're so right, I know you are (well maybe not about the olives but everything else) Wink With Steely's help I did make some progress with the beer... got to the point where I could drink it pretty casually and replaced my drinks in the pub with it... so I do know it does work... that you can acquire tastes to some extent... but then I made the mistake of trying a different type and I just lost the taste completely, and the first one went back to tasting like shit again. So I think it's a delicate process.

So I started on stout - Guinness I think - at Steely's recommendation, but it was trying shandy that ruined it for me... which is probably the opposite way round from how most people get into beer Wink

Oh yeah. Here's another food item I can't stand. This style of mustard:

The only thing I can think of that I like it on is Chicago-styled hot dogs, but that's it. And of course, I still love all other styles of mustard. Oh wait... except for honey mustard. That sucks as well.
I don't believe you. Get over it.

Guinness has the virtue(?) of having practically no taste whatsoever.

Shandy can really be quite good, it's kind of like a less-sweet version of whatever juice it's made from, however it's flavor profile is going to clash with many other beers, so trying one immediately after drinking a Guinness without cleansing the palate first may literally leave a bad taste in your mouth.

Guinness is bitter to me.
