Because the universe is an expression of God.
And while we are asking, why does Amun-Ra translate as Hidden Mouth and why is Ra's symbol a circle around a dot? Why did Sri Krishna show his mother the inside of his mouth which contained the entire universe?
Because all gods are man made fantasy delusions. The men that created them could not think of any other analogy or they wanted the god to be somehow similar to man. You seem to be continuing the fantasy delusion.
Being told you're delusional does not necessarily mean you're mental.

You seem to be continuing the fantasy delusion. You assume. I don't think they made the stories up nor are they authentic/literal. They are something else specifically crafted to be handed across time by primitive cultures. So primitive language was employed.
You really should look up the history and significance of the circumpunct.

Not assume, there has been no evidence of proof. Just blah, blah, blah. A tale, story, anecdote from antiquity when fantasy delusion was accepted as evidence.
Ya got some proof? Bring it.

Ya got some proof? Bring it. I have a logical model which predicts very specific geometric features within a universe. There will never be scientific/instrumental proof of what is outside of the universe or even outside of our tiny observable bubble within the universe. So I operate by plausibility while swinging Occam's Claymore.

Well, that's some mighty fine proof. I suggest you start a religion.

The thought has crossed my mind. But I don't think I'm up to the responsibility for others and personal ego slaying it will absolutely require. Fame, fortune, celebrity and media circus, no thanks. I like my privacy and relative anonymity. If I start a religion those will be sacrificed and I'm not ready to give them up. The world is extremely noisy and I like peace and quiet....
I could always fake my death though.

No, don't do that.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'

We believe getting drunk or high on the lords presence is also a thing. ( getting so overwhelmed with the feeling of joy and peace that your motor control is disabled and you stumble and can't stop laughing) quite the sight when we get going in worship lol
My ex-wife was raised in an Assembly church.
Crazy. As. Fuck.
