Sounds good to me. That's exactly what I wish we had here. I'm not for wholesale banning of all firearms, but I wish we had sensible licensing and control of who owns them. But here, in 'Murica, any time something like that is proposed it's met with huge resistance because apparently we'd rather try to win a gunfight with a bad guy rather than keep the bad guy from getting a gun to begin with. Same for universal health care. Any time it's even suggested that maybe the government could provide medical care it's met with "If we do that we ain't gonna have no more freedom!" and "I don't want them lazy bums getting free medicine!" And the ever-classic "Keep your government hands off my Medicare! (government-run medical aid program)." At least now I know a good place to look into emigrating if things get too rough here.
