In principle, I don't have a problem with a wall if it would deter human trafficking and drug trafficking.

The problem is how expensive it would be and whether or not it would actually be effective. Overall it seems kind of a dumb idea.

As for deporting illegals, I think it just depends. If they are families that have children and have been here for a long time, I'd say let them stay. If it's some dude who just trespassed the border here recently, I'd say take him back. If he really wants to come, there's a legal way of doing it.

It's like you have no idea what is really happening in the world around you, but I guess that is what happens when you get your news from satire news shows and late night show monologues. better yet why not turn to the NY times or CNN rather than see what the man is still promising himself on his website, or per his own words in this interview?

But there are legal ways for the family with kids to do it as well. You can't afford to be soft on immigration, you have to clamp down hard on illegals and tell them to do it legally. The system exists for a bloody reason.

Here's a good video about it I posted in another thread.  Of course, the conservatives here will just dismiss as liberal hogwash, but there's some good food for thought in there, like the fact that only half of undocumented immigrants actually come over that border and they're actually less likely to commit crime than a U.S. citizen.

Oh, and anyone that tells you that a wall will stop drug trafficking knows nothing about drug trafficking.
