Then again xtians just had a big hand in putting Trump in office. If he breaks it, you bought it.
We along with many non-christian, and if he breaks it we've all bought it.

God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

Unless you can find a "disciple" living around somewhere it looks like your godboy was full of shit.
Or rather, the assholes who wrote the silly gospel were.
Again, he's speaking of the destruction of the temple in 70 AD. First of all, in verse 27 he is using apocalyptic language, which means he is speaking symbolically. He is purposely using language taken from the old testament book of Daniel 7:13 in an apocalyptic prophecy which reads:
13 As my vision continued that night, I saw someone like a son of man coming with the clouds of heaven.
When the bible uses apocalyptic language they are normally referring to a cataclysmic event, such as the invasion of Israel and the ensuing captivity of the Jewish people by Babylon, or the end of time in Revelation. The disciples were schooled in the old testament scriptures and would have been familiar with this. That's why you need to consider his audience.
In verse 2 of Matthew 24, the chapter you are quoting Jesus says when his disciples came up to him to call his attention to the buildings as they were leaving the temple:
2 But he responded, “Do you see all these buildings? I tell you the truth, they will be completely demolished. Not one stone will be left on top of another!”
This clues us that he will be talking about the destruction of the temple and the end of the Jewish sacrificial system. Jesus will come in power with his kingdom to accomplish this as stated in verse 30 of the chapter.
And they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
In verse 34 he says:
I tell you the truth, this generation will not pass from the scene until all these things take place. The destruction of the temple occurred within the time span of the generation living at the time of Jesus' prediction.

This "prediction" would be a hell of a lot more impressive if it was a contemporaneous account of something the man actually said (preferably something he wrote himself) rather than words put into his mouth decades after his death and after the Temple had already been destroyed.
But even if he had predicted it, then what? That's evidence that he was the Messiah? The son of God? Would it really have been such a stretch for a Jew living in the 1st Century to figure out that continued provocation of the Romans would result in disaster?
Consider me unimpressed.

No surprise there. No matter what I bring up you will try to discredit it.

In this case, it doesn't require much effort. But if you want to indulge in the fantasy that this is a faithful report of what Jesus said, that your interpretation of his alleged words is the correct one, and that it was a remarkable prediction that somehow lends credence to the belief that he was the son of God . . . well, knock yourself out.
I remain unimpressed.

My point here is not whether Jesus said aught about unseasonable weather, but the danger of end time prophecy is that it allows people to ignore the very real issue of global warming. Why worry about what we’re doing to our planet if this world is not your home. Maybe burning fossil fuel is god’s way of fulfilling prophecy.
God gave the responsibility of taking care of this planet to all of mankind. Christians and all others are to do their best and if one wants to get picky no ones doing all they can.

Let us guess, out of the 7 billion humans, and the 10,000 plus different worldwide sects and all the god claims worldwide since the first writings of humans magically you got the correct one.
Let me clue you in. There is no god telling us to take care of the planet, our human empathy comes from our evolution. It isn't a stretch that if you can look at a clean house, or village even in antiquity, and keep it free from too much pollution, you won't end up with a clogged toilet. The idea of clean and care is an instinct. Even tigers and lions clean themselves and cubs, and have sensitive smell and will avoid water if it smells bad.
Our species wasn't handed anything by a cosmic hero, and we are not the apex of life. There is other life far better suited to survive and far more successful than we think we are. A flock of penguins at the south pole don't need to build shelter, don't wear cloths and can survive up to 30 below zero. The water bear is one of the oldest known microbial creature still alive today. It can survive up to 300 above and 400 below, and has survived all 5 mass extinctions. Not to mention cockroaches and bacteria outnumber humans and have also been around far longer.
Your idea that humans are the center of the planet or the universe for that matter, is merely a reflection of your own narcissism. Self preservation is what evolution does, but our species gap filling leads to very superficial selfish beliefs that we are important as a species. We are and we are not. We are important because we are here now, and by taking care of the planet and each other we can extend our finite ride. But there is no sky hero playing favorites to any form of life not even humans. It is up to humans to find ways to resource manage, reduce conflict and extend our ride. There really is nobody upstairs helping us.

Horseshit, son. I realize you are just parroting back what some holy joe told you - and which you desperately wanted to hear - but here is the entirety of Chapter 16.
https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?se...ersion=NIV
Find a single mention of the fucking "temple" in it.
You're slipping around like a cat in a marble hallway trying to find a word here or a word there which will save your holy horseshit from the fate which it so richly deserves. Tossed on the dustbin of history.
Meanwhile, do understand that every time you run your mouth I am going to fact check you. That probably frightens you more than fucking hell.
