End of Times and career

This question is mostly for Christians, ex-Christians and those who associate with devout Christians --as family members, f.e.
Say, there is a boy who is 18 years old. He is in Senior High. Soon, he will finish it, and then he can study in college, university... But why should he, if he lives in the End of Times?
Why have I started this thread? Well, I am in Europe, and we are godless heathens and I saw plenty of Americans who come to
spread His word here.
Then you have your Bible belt...
Anyway, the End of Times.... I typed in the browser and I get

and plenty of other sites dedicated to it....
What is the point of studying medicine (8 years?), when you get raptured in 2 years?
Probably he should just get a job flipping burgers...

Looking at the historical data regarding rapture dates, one can see a clear trend. It never, ever, happens. Perhaps he is wise enough to notice this, and decided to pursue a good career; you know....just in case.

Where has this 2 year date come from?
Is that the one this guy subscribes to or is he more fuzzy about it?
Personally I'd find a more immediate date and schedule an 'It's not the end of the world' party for the day after...

Seems like scripture stated it was going to be a surprise apocalypse.
So, once again, sounds like we are dealing with someone who knows better than god again . . . .
