Lebanon is the puppet and strategic launch pad for attacks against Israel from both Iran and Syria. Iran and Syria are allies and both are sworn enemies to Israel. I doubt that either Egypt or Jordan would get involved if there were a conflict to erupt between Isarael, Syria, and Iran.

Does it look to you as if Syria wouldn't have other concerns. It's not about states but about groups. And these groups get encouraged by Bibi's policy. There has never been a better recruiting program than hate. And it's a natural reaction to hate the ones killing your family and destroying your livelihood. Netanjahu does everything to perpetuate a state of war, since, as with every rightwinger, in lack of a better program, the only way to survive is fear.

My family was on the receiving end of antisemitism. That doesn't change the fact that criticizing the Israeli government for acting like shitstains isn't antisemitism. You just have to look with whom they share their bed to stay in power.

Genocide of Native Americans also, and we have asshole Andrew Jackson on our money, a sicko who marched 10,000 Native Americans off their land, and thousands died in the "Trail of Tears".
