A woman can become pregnant whether she consents to being impregnated or not. Consent to sex =/= consent to be impregnated any more than consent to sex = consent to contracting an STD. It is merely a possible consequence of sex, and in many cases an unintended consequence, even with precautions.

You don't. Neither does a woman have a right to the baby's body. So at the end of the day we're left with a baby that didn't ask to be there and a mother that had a hand in putting it there. I would rather protect the baby's right to live.

Why would you think that? My life is pretty enjoyable as it is right now so I'd have definitely felt cheated if somebody unilaterally decided whether I deserved to live or die. I'm sure many other people would too. It's definitely about the baby and it's right to live. No one's forcing women to be surrogate mothers, if you don't want to do it then don't do it but if you sign up to do it then you definitely have to do it because once after you sign up there's two human lives involved.
