I'm still reading Ehrman, and it is just stunning how what we today know as 'Christianity' would be totally unrecognizable to Christ as anything He had a hand in.
so it's a crap shoot of the worst sort in possibly having a clue as to how God (for the sake of argument positing He exists) would actually regard anything.

FM, Scandinavians are the least religious but with the influx of Muslims who are now Scandinavians, the stats are changing. Muslim majority these days? Maybe.

"These last days" (Hebrews 1:2) would suggest that the cult should not have survived that century anyway.
Instead it evolved and survived. Very different animal today. EDIT: I guess I should say it's a whole family of animals, many of which really hate each other.

It was a whole flock of vastly different sects from literally the get go.
Successors to Apostle Paul eventually stamped out the rest of the lot, did what they could to erase as much evidence as they could that there were ever any serious contenders with different ideas about what Christ ordained.

If they didn't offer a black and white verdict on any given issue, what would their market share be, why would anyone need or desire their product?
Nuanced views of the vast grey areas of the human condition are already cluttered with worthless secular philosophies......who needs more of that.
