Most people feel satisfied after eating or after having sex or after they got a new car.
Unfortunately this feeling of satisfaction doesn't last very long indeed.  Banghead
After a short time that feeling goes away and the action need to be done once again and again and again.  Bump
In this way most people think that this repetition is the way to go and therefore it is logic and make sense.

This is not logic.  Indubitably
Logic is when the feeling of satisfaction is permanent not temporary.
Smart people come to understand that physical-material things can not possibly bring a permanent
state of peace of mind and happiness that is why they work on actions that fulfill a state of permanent
feeling.

Peace of mind come from within so the work need to be done within.

Your posting is not logic by your definition. You need to seek your own logic, follow your own advice, and stop posting.
Being told you're delusional does not necessarily mean you're mental.

So....

Rik just proved that he knows about as much about logic as he does about the rest or reality.

None, and I mean NONE of what you posted has anything to do wot logic, formal or informal logic.

Logic is a method to examine an argument, in order to tell if the conclusion follows from the premises.

Arguments, in the logical sense, follow a specific form. Usually:

Premise 1
Premise 2
Premise 3
.
.
.
Conclusion

If the premises are sound, and the argument is valid (no fallacies), the conclusion must follow from the premises.

Your entire OP is noting but a non sequitur. Which is a LOGICAL FALLACY.

You'd believe if you just opened your heart" is a terrible argument for religion. It's basically saying, "If you bias yourself enough, you can convince yourself that this is true." If religion were true, people wouldn't need faith to believe it -- it would be supported by good evidence.

Wrong.
A method has been used to examine an argument.
It is a reality that humans keep on searching again and again for permanent peace of mind because they search externally which turn to be the wrong place.
The conclusion is that physical-material things are unable to bring permanent satisfaction that
is why this search is not logic.
On the other hand those who search within find permanent satisfaction and this is a reality so logic
occur when the search follow the path where eventually lead to something that works.
In this case as it bring a permanent state of peace of mind.  Lightbulb

@OP:

you might be confusing "logical" and "logic".

you'd still be wrong, but at least you'd make some sense

RE: What is logic?
#1: only propositions hold a logic value (true or false). Interrogations e.g. are not propositions.
#2: a proposition both true AND false is always false (no contradiction)
#3: a proposition that is true OR false is always true. ( the excluded middle)

After that you only need to make the construct.

You should try to discipline your thoughts by these 3 axioms. These are the laws of thought. The basis of logic.

Slightly different are the three logical absolutes proposed by Aristotle (in order: law of identity, law of non-contradiction, law of excluded middle):

1. X is X.
2. X cannot be both true and false.
3. X can only be true or false.

Your logical absolutes are correct, but I like these better based on their simplicity.

Without any of these axioms, logic is completely useless.
