I'm glad you would spend your time on such useful pursuits. I would just demand that they prove it.

If mainly those see a unicorn specifically whose parents already claimed to see one and indoctrinated their children from birth, that tells you something...

If most of the world claimed to see an invisible unicorn in a garage, if they can't prove it, I would at least go the garage and see if I can see it.
Aside from asking them why they believe they saw such a thing, I would even if I don't see myself or be convinced of the evidence, not dismiss it.
If most of the world is seriously asserting they saw unicorn that in invisible physically, I would not dimiss it simply because I am not convinced of their evidence or not have seen it myself.
I would certainly not mock them all as being deluded. I can only do that if they I know for certain no such thing exists and that they are all lying.

It doesn't tell you much, we learn how to survive in the world as children from parents. Obviously, our parents don't teach only truth, but to dismiss as truth because our parents taught it doesn't make sense. It makes sense if it was a truth we ought to know and our parents knew it, we would first come to contact with it through our parents.
You guys keep saying these unclear things that doesn't seem to clearly answer the question at all.
If you can elaborate and respond to the OP, then do so, but simply stating things without explaining their relevance or proving your case is deceptive and lazy.

But why should Theists take seriously that you actually are justified in not believing in God? Why should we not believe it's the fault of yours and not God's or anyone else?
Why should we take your testification that you sincerely sought to know whether God exists or not seriously?
I honestly don't care what you think of what I do or do not believe, so long as you aren't going to pressure me about it. I'm not trying to convince you of anything at all, either. Theists like you often are trying to dump your beliefs on me, though, so I just make sure the burden lies with the deserving party. Your claim, your burden.
I don't believe you. Get over it.

Question: Why do you care if we researched something? Isn't a belief in something a personal decision that doesn't involve others? Does telling you that we used to believe make us credited for 'researching' a religion? If I say I've read a lot of books and watched a lot of movies am I required to take tests on them for you to believe me?

You can always believe in something but also admit that you can't prove it, you know.

"If most of the world claimed to see an invisible unicorn in a garage, if they can't prove it, I would at least go the garage and see if I can see it."
But they can't produce the garage either. (Need I explain the "Heaven" analogy?)
Anyway, you're bending over backwards to cover the fact that you can't deal with the requirement to prove your god exists.

I doubt that MK will ever "get it." His turban has been tied too tight for far too long. The brain damage is irreversible at this point.
Sadly, he prefers fairy tales to reality.
