The original GitS was also an animation.
Of course a live action movie is going to be different than a cartoon.

The ending is dumbed down in the movie. Considerably.

"Attack on Titan" live action version. I was very disappointed. It had so much potential.

Star Trek: Nemesis
Never watched it all the way through before. It is an odd entry in the Star Trek universe, I'll concede that. Enjoyed the intensity of Tom Hardy as Shinzon, but the retinue of ST:TNG characters seemed like some weird community theater group playing them. Apparently there were some issues with the director of the movie, it shows.

Everything about the movie, the premise and all, is dumbed down. I remember watching the original anime movies, and having to think about what was really happening. This live action one, on the other hand, spoonfeeds me everything they expect me to take from the movie.

Wilson
Woody Harrelson did an amazing job in this role.

Just saw M night shams "Split'
It was very good I was extremely supprized how much I liked it I thought he has really grown as a director in that he did not rely on gimmicks to sell a given story (like a twist ending)...

I love Woody Harrelson . Have you ever seen him in 'Kingpin' with Bill Murray?? It can get crude at times but that movie is one of my favs.
If I were to create self aware beings knowing fully what they would do in their lifetimes, I sure wouldn't create a HELL for the majority of them to live in infinitely! That's not Love, that's sadistic. Therefore a truly loving god does not exist!
Quote:The sin is against an infinite being (God) unforgiven infinitely, therefore the punishment is infinite.
Dead wrong. The actions of a finite being measured against an infinite one are infinitesimal and therefore merit infinitesimal punishment.
Quote:Some people deserve hell.
I say again: No exceptions. Punishment should be equal to the crime, not in excess of it. As soon as the punishment is greater than the crime, the punisher is in the wrong.

I have always liked Anna Kendrick. She is an amazing actress.
Plus, Lisa Kudrow is in this movie.
Overall, it is a nice relaxing comedy about strangers who meet, find a way to do their own thing, and become friends.
