Probably because you would need to take on established businesses which will do everything to stay in business. It took years to move the needle on tabacco companies, when it comes to food it will even take longer.

Why isn't there a fight against unhealthy food like is for drugs?

and it's more of a quantity thing in regards to food
Even items that are acknowledged to be really bad for you (like that enormous piece of key lime pie I had Tuesday) if taken in moderation (literally the first desert I have eaten in WEEKS) in the big picture scheme of things aren't that unhealthy overall. Hell, the fucking gallon of Gavilyte foisted on me felt like it was literally killing me, and that was Dr prescribed. The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.
I think there should be high taxes on unhealthy foods because it annoys me that smokers are punished while fatties who strain the health services are not.
