If the Evans and Fundies can OVERULE a clear and unambiguous prohibition from God Himself, makes one wonder just how much power REAL witches can wield, don't it ?

You can't say that anymore Vorion because I have a problem with it.

You can withstand the peer pressure from the likes of the Falwells, Roberts, Bakkers, Swaggarts, and the rest who gave the Reagans a pass, no matter how great their impieties and sacrileges are ??

You're unique in Christendom !!

{BTW, you might want to put some terms and conditions on your offer, I note Drich merely has to note the Reagans nevertheless proclaimed belief in Jesus and their apostasy is of no consequence, even if literally tens of thousands of people were led to Satan by their example.  Additionally, as far as I know, the witchy stuff in the Bible is Old Testament only, and you acknowledge that and I'm going to assume you are also not wearing mixed fabric clothing, you're zealously removing menstruating women from your church, and you are plowing up your neighbors lawns and gardens if they have planted more than one kind of seed}
The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

Say, that isn't some kind of sexual innuendo, is it?

I mean seems like a decent way to at least start proving the bible.  Show me some witchcraft I can do.  Because having magic powers seems pretty awesome.  I'm a heathen so I don't even have to worry about going to hell for witchcraft.  I'm already going for not believing.

So let's see some simple spells I can compel the dark lord to let me use.  I promise not to set any Christians on fire unless they try to set me on fire first.  Just some simple spells.  Like WIngardium Leviosa or that spell that gives you infinite replenishing sandwiches.  I'll even take accio!  My kids would get a kick out of it.

Maybe you should ask if the modern term "witch craft" has anything to do with what the bible identifies.

I don't know, dumbass.

In years past, Christians have taken an EXTREMELY broad and wide ranging view of what a witch is.

Literally any woman not practicing the CORRECT religion is, by definition, a WITCH.

I would suggest acceding to modern era 'fluffy bunny' Scripture cherry picking Christians attempting to redefine the term to be met with CONSIDERABLE skepticism.

I've asked this of a couple of believers before, as there is so much more evidence for witches than god.  Witches are mentioned in the bible. At the Salem witch trials alone, we have the eye witness testimonies of scores of people, physical evidence presented, confessions of the detailed actions of their members and positive judgements of godly judges.  Hell, King James, patron of the KJV, was a firm believer.  How do they explain it away? I'm bewitched, bothered and bewildered.

I'd have to investigate what their positions were. I just know that the bible doesn't back her up. It is true that christians do sin, and they are still christians, but if they continue to do so with no remorse then they probably are not really christians. (Please nobody bring up the "no true scotsman" analogy. Been there, done that.)

The new testament does comment on witchcraft, as well as following the old testament laws, as in the following verses:

Galatians 5:18-20 New Living Translation (NLT)

18 But when you are directed by the Spirit, you are not under obligation to the law of Moses.

19 When you follow the desires of your sinful nature, the results are very clear: sexual immorality, impurity, lustful pleasures, 20 idolatry, sorcery, hostility, quarreling, jealousy, outbursts of anger, selfish ambition, dissension, division,

So, how many sorcerers do you think are living in the US, at present, Lek?

I know, I know, you don't have census data available...but, shot in the dark, if you had to guess. I'm not going to hold you to the specific number or anything.

More than one sorcerer, or less than one, for example?
