I know, I know, you don't have census data available...but, shot in the dark, if you had to guess.  I'm not going to hold you to the specific number or anything.

More than one sorcerer, or less than one, for example?

1,382.5

That's a fair few more than I would have guessed.  At least we answered the OP q though, right?  Yes, at least some christians believe in witchcraft. In this thread..correct me if I'm wrong..but 100% of christians believe in witchraft. Which, again, correct me if I'm wrong, amounts to something like 200% more christians, at the very least, who believe in sorcerers.......than there are sorcerers on this planet.

I'm a sorcerer. It's a pretty fun class to play in D&D. They're very powerful spell-casters.
I don't believe you. Get over it.

"Thou shalt not suffer a sorceress to live." - Exodus 22:18

The verse does not say whether the sorcery had to work or not, but as far as I'm concerned people who mess with the occult are only asking for trouble.

I think it was AronRa who told the story of a boy he went to school with being murdered by another boy because he wore a pentagram.

The boy's defence was, "the bible says not to suffer a witch to live."

So, yeah, some still believe in it.

Mostly the loons who need to be sedated with something lethal.

I have to disagree with Rhythm.
There are just as many sorcerers out there as there are faith healers, astrologists, palm readers, etc.

Are they effective in their proclaimed skill set? Not so much...

Me too. My most memorable time was when I shot a level seven fireball up a dragon's ass, in midair. It was great.

I love my Tiefling. She's awesome.

"You never see a psychic winning the lottery for the same reason you never see a faith healer working in a hospital."

Can't remember who said it, but it's very true.

Hey now. I would hazard to say they're every bit as effective as the faith healers, astrologists, palm readers, etc.
