More like:
Coexist = stop poking holes in our cash cow with your stupid reality.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'

There's all the difference in the world between "I don't know so it's an ineffable mystery" and "I don't know - let's find out".

Right off the top of my head, Pluto was a planet.

So the definition of planet is broader now, in light of further discovery. Pluto itself is unchanged. Anything else? You did say there were many things.

Indeed, 'planet' simply means 'wandering star'. While it does 'wander', as distinct from being relatively fixed, it's never going to be a star. Your argument is with nomenclature, not with science.

Well done, you've discovered the self correcting nature of science. Who was it that made the corrections to these facts, a dowser, an astrologer or a scientist?

We weren’t aware of Pluto's existence 100 years ago.
It's amazing 'science' always seems to 'find' whatever it is funded for, and never the oppsite. Drich.

The scientific facts about Pluto did not change, other than we have learned MORE about it, in the intervening 87 years since it was discovered.
All that changed is its classification.
You'd believe if you just opened your heart" is a terrible argument for religion. It's basically saying, "If you bias yourself enough, you can convince yourself that this is true." If religion were true, people wouldn't need faith to believe it -- it would be supported by good evidence.

And now for something completely off topic. How does the forum software decide when and how to embed one post on top of an other. For example my previous post was actually two separate posts.

Yes, because we add to our knowledge, and make modifications with the new knowledge. Tossing out bad models not supported by evidence, and adding new models better supported by the new evidence.
Quote:I also don't accept science as the ultimate method of discovering truth.
It has proven to be, BY FAR, the single best method we've yet come across.
Name another method, that is as reliable, across all religious and cultural back grounds.
Quote:If science hasn't or can't provide an answer I'm open to pursuing that answer by other means and have found answers by doing so.
And billions of people have found answers that differ from yours, when they use 'other means' based on their religious beliefs.
Again, proving that your 'other means' are not reliable.
