And then looking at her facebook, I discovered this conversation. For context, she once posted a blurry photo of what appeared to be a squirrel, calling it "My Little Buddy." Here's the conversation, edited to protect their identities, but any idiosyncrasies in grammar, spelling, and punctuation are all theirs)

For the record, these are three girls of about seventeen fighting over a random squirrel (that at least one of them thinks is a bunny). I'm not sure what to think about that.
lol ummm... That just seems like typical fun FB banter from 3 teenage girls. It's no different than me saying I'm going to steal people's furniture on FB and they reply, "NO MINE! I'm prepared, you can have it if you can drag it out of my house alive." It's really not that much different. Just nonsense posts for fun.

I suppose you're right on some level, but then again, when I knew her, well, you know the phrase "act your age, not your shoe size?" She was the sort of person who pretty much acted smaller than her shoe size literally. Between her all-encompassing ducky obsession (and yes, she always used "ducky", never duck) and her tendency to get talk with her girlfriend like she was her mommy, or the fact that her emotional expression was frequently akin to a first-grader, it really makes me wonder...

Some people are just childish that way. There's a certain innocence to people like that to be admired I guess, but I'd find a conversation with them annoying after a few minutes.

She's really the sort of girl whose ideal hangout would be a combination titty bar and petting zoo. She likes cooing over animals (especially ducks) and likes to "Get intimate with" other girls (honestly, some of the things I've seen her do would be creepy as Hell coming from a guy like me, but because she's who she is, she didn't seem to completely repel other girls) although for reasons never adequately explained, she never came out of the closet.
It's like she's a combination of Ginger Rogers' Su-Su persona from The Major and the Minor and Courtney from 13 Reasons Why.
