How do you select these stories out of the tens of thousands of similar stories that hit the wires every day?

I use several news compilation services.  They rarely let me down.

I also visit a site called GunFail which gives me the idiots with guns stories.  They are a little more hit and miss but in general there are enough assholes with guns so that there is no shortage of stories of morons shooting themselves or others.

When Alfred Olango’s sister called 911 for police to assist him, she had no idea that the officers would kill him. But instead of helping Olango, who was reportedly unarmed and having a psychotic episode, officers fatally shot him, saying he was “acting erratically.”

This is not an aberration.  It happens all the time.

If you don't like cops, call for a paramedic, sirens are sirens...plus, it might be handy to have an ambulance nearby, if the cops happen to show up anyway, slow night handing out tickets and all.

And if you get the medics killed because they're not armed and you've lured them into a fire fight I hope you explain to the families that you'd rather have them killed than the cops.

No, I'm pointing out that the maniac is trying to paint the cops as out of control, and he's failing badly. There are about 800,000 cops in the US these days, and he can find an egregious shooting every day or two. Call it 200 shootings a year. He paints ALL OF THEM as improper, of course, because if he only went with the ones that actually unjustified he'd be at 30-50 posts a year, and that just wouldn't suit his agenda.

Oh fuck that bullshit.  When a cop murders a suspect and a whole shitload of his buddies swear that the guy was coming at him with a knife... and then we see the video tape which shows the guy veering away from the cops you apparently classify them as "good cops" instead of perjurers.

You know what's interesting..... these "witness cops" never seem to explain why, if the threat was so apparent, only one guy fired. 

A cop who ignores the crimes of other cops is not a "good cop."  And, a cop who does not ignore the crimes of others cops is considered a rat by his buddies in blue.

Are you not reading the many examples of police violence people have provided. Alfred Olango was murdered by cops near my town. His sister needed help with his mental illness. He had no gun, but was murdered on the spot. FUCK THAT! I've read so many stories like this and ones talking about how people are choosing not to call 911 for this reason.  Some cops are not safe with a gun and need to be in jail. Unfortunately, the cop that murdered Philando Castile at a traffic stop with his girlfriend and kid in car  was just released from jail.  Even with damning video evidence on facebook and dash cam.  This isn't justice. Its dispicable, and you can't defend cops that choose to murder innocent civilians. Well you can, but that makes you an ass.

The point of this thread is to bring attention to those cops who are bad. If he wanted to start a thread on the good deeds that cops do, he's been told before to start one. He fails miserably to do that, instead coming on here acting all butthurt because no one agrees with the insanity that he finds okay.
