Ken Ham's Creation museum is FAILING!!!!!
RE: Ken Ham's Creation museum is FAILING!!!!!
Blaming atheists? Hos disappointing, figured he'd blame Satan.
Oh, maybe the Church of Satan and The Satanic Temple can buy the Ark and turn it into a dinosaur museum, or a museum on the atrocities committed in the name of God. Or, maybe the developers of ARK: Survival Evolved can buy it and turn it into a LARP arena based on their game!

Pediatric veal production facility.

Unlimited growth potential, demand has never been higher.
The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

It would be the easiest conversion ever.  It's already a bunch of primitives running around trying to steal shit from other people getting fucked up by giant bugs and dehydration. They've got plenty of dinos with saddles just a hop and a skip away at his creation museum.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

Imagine the money you could rake in. Laser tag Saturdays, Hunger Games Wednesdays, Base Building Thursdays. Plant synthetic bushes that players can "harvest" for fiber and food, plastic logs to build structures, dudes running around in flesh-colored, skin-tight suits wrecking your shit. That'd be oodles of fun. Also, have lower ticket prices on Sunday's.

What bothered me most about this guy and his ''museum'' wasn't just that it's based on absurdity (I thought this even as a practicing believer) - it just shows the hypocrisy of how many Christians spend their money. How about using all of the wasted money for this museum and giving it to the poor? To the homeless? To those less fortunate? The museum is little more than this jerk's cry for attention, and a massive ego trip.

This is why Christianity teaches so much to be ''childlike'' in your faith, because when we're kids, we trust what we're being told by teachers, preachers, etc. How sad.  Sad

For that matter check the prices for just buying tickets and parking. It's more expensive than, e.g., spending a day at a Six Flags or something, which would have much wider appeal to a much larger demographic.

I can believe that Ham imagined people would be fascinated and beat a path to his door, because after all this is what HE is obsessed with so why wouldn't everyone else find it compelling?

Alas and alack ... 'twas not to be. It didn't spark the popular imagination. People didn't hear about the Ark Experience one day and go, "Finally! Martha, gather up the kids, I've been looking to learn all about Noah's Ark for years and years!"

As an Irishman, I've not yet had the pleasure of getting within a thousand miles of Six Flags, but today I paid €13.50 to go down a cave and see this:

A few miles up the road I got out the car and saw this:

And a few weeks ago I could have seen these if I were clued in enough (the second oldest evidence of walking animals, 384m years old on Valentia Island):
