Crab knife fight
In Sydney we call that a Friday night in Kings Cross: Crabs and knife fights...
Probably different meanings, though.

I opened up Contemporary Abstract Algebra by Joseph A. Gallian and found the following quotes to be interesting:
"Learn to reason forward and backward on both sides of a question." Thomas Blandi
"The thing that counts is not what we know but the ability to use what we know." Leo L. Spears
"With every mistake we must surely be learning." George Harrison, "While My Guitar Gently Weeps," The White Album
"We must view with profound respect the infinite capacity of the human mind to resist the introduction of useful knowledge." Thomas R. Lounsbury
"All wish to possess knowledge, but few, comparatively speaking, are willing to pay the price." Juvenal
"There's a mighty big difference between good, sound reasons and reasons that sound good." Burton Hills

It was some sort of inside joke at my previous place of employment; a joke I never fully understood that made my fellow coworkers crack up laughing every time "My name is Karl with a K" was mentioned.
