You'd have to be a better GoT scholar than I to participate in a discussion thread where only the first book is in play.
Since you're done with the books you definitely need to binge watch the show. There's a reason it's one of the best shows of all time.

As a show, I liked Spartacus. had the same amount of violence as sex for all orientations and desires. and no need for supernatural thinguies. Plus, Lucy Lawless looked pretty good in that show.
