Bachmann will pick up Iowa easily. Her campaign will soon run out of steam when it gets to states not so heavily populated by crazy Republicans.

Only retroactively, of course. These were the same fucktards who during his administration called us all traitors for daring to criticize him during a war that he lied us into.

The trouble with the primary system is that in most states only crazy republicans can vote in the primaries and there is no other kind of republican.

Yeah...but when Michelle Obama tells them not to feed their kids lard they think its "socialism." Do you suppose that's because they don't want to hear anything from the nanny?

No, I think a lot of Republican's lost respect for Michelle Obama said, right after her Husband was elected, that for the first time in her life she's proud of America.
After that, pretty much anything she says as first lady means nothing in many Republican's and Tea's book. Can't say I blame them on that score, considering she had plenty of opportunity to claim she was proud of America when her husband was Senator in the 13th district of Illinois.

And secondly, a lot of them believe that if we get past August the second and we have enough chaos, we could force the Senate and the White House to accept a balanced budget amendment. I’m not sure that that — I don’t think that that strategy works. Because I think the closer we get to August the second, frankly, the less leverage we have vis a vis our colleagues in the Senate and the White House.

There you have it folks. Some of them are going to toss the US down the tank, crash the economy and then use it for their own petty Tea Party political machinations.

Also, have you guys noticed how Boehner is disagreeing with this course of action not on the damage it will do but the fact that the political calculus might not work out.

Whiskey-Tango-Foxtrot.

The US economy is already down the tank, falling further and further while scrambling under an even higher debt burden all the while with nothing but "hope" that they can build a propeller in time to lift them out before they hit recession or depression levels - The situation is now worse than it would have been given no stimulus or bailouts post 2008 and had Bush not tried to look like a champion and get attention by stimulating his way out of the bubble in the early 2000s causing the housing boom your economy would be doing just fine right now.

That's a bit like saying "IF the horse hadn't stopped to take a shit he would have won the race," Void.

Doesn't help now.

No, it vindicates all the people who said "leave it the fuck alone", recessions are supposed to happen, they reflect evaporation of the delusions present regarding the wealth of the economy - If they hadn't done a thing your country would be in a better position than now.
