Religion and Science are 1000% Opposite

Was that statement true or false?

False.

The word 'something' suggests singular rather than plural.

Seriously, I can't decide whether you're being willfully ignorant in your desperate attempt to prove one of us wrong, or if you have legitimate issues with reading comprehension.  Nothing about our modern cell structure makes abiogenesis impossible.  And the video you showed illustrated a very plausible mechanism, based on already observed behavior, for abiogenesis.

You claim a statement I made is false, then turn around and say the exact same thing I said, just worded differently... and you want to talk about MY reading comprehension level.

Right now you're talking in circles.

Huggy, you said flat out that our cells debunked the entire idea of abiogenesis. This is false. That you cannot grasp this is not a failure on my end.

Actual scientists do not assert 'modern cells' originated de novo.

Unfortunately some things are difficult to explain and they don't have a magic book to refer to.

Creationism is bunk. It says nothing about wether Christianity is bunk also, isn't even interested. But "creation science" is utter bunk.

Not only that but he claims that all scientists (or scientists as a collective term) theorise that abiogenesis is impossible.

Honestly, Huggy just states things that he wishes were true without considering just how ludicrous the statement is.

This is what you said.

It doesn't debunk abiogenesis because there's absolutely nothing to say that cells couldn't/haven't evolved with us.  And that one of the more probable explanations happens to be laid out in the video you linked.

I mean, shit, can't you keep up with what you yourself say?

Puddles exist that perfectly shape and form for the water they contain. Therefore gods.

Par for the course.

And, I mean, evolution on a cellular level isn't even a controversial idea.  Plant and animal cells are structured and operate differently.  Which, again, is something I would assume most people learn somewhere around 5th-7th grade (I learned it in 6th).  To think that our cells are exactly the same as what was originally formed millions (billions?) of years ago is utterly ridiculous.

If cells didn't evolve then we wouldn't need an annual flu vaccine.
