The thing about historical evidences is you can't say evidence for something won't be found just because it isn't found right now. We are learning and discovering many things each day.
Sorry, but until you do find evidence then it's unproven. We've been waiting 2,000 years for that one guy to come back despite the Bible saying "there are those alive today who shall see my return."

If you claim something occurred in history, or claim that a certain facet of reality exists, or claim that something is true and verifiable...then you need evidence.
If all you're saying is 'the bible has some good stories and morals but none of the claims should be considered as true in reality' then...fine, I guess?
The Bible is just about morals, nothing more. What porpouse would it serve to give scientific knowledge ?

Does the book claim that ? It is what the church claims.Why? Because they want to manipulate . They want to manipulate just becaute they are religiouss ? No because that is what most people want , power , they just use a different tool.
