Sauasage in a Manger & Muslims in Christmas Advert
November 15, 2017 at 12:10 pm
Ok we have finally gone mad, it's official !
Greggs a well known British baker featured and advert with Jesus replaced by a sausage roll, not only apparently was it offensive to Christians but to Jews as well as a sausage roll contains pork.

Also there is a Tesco advert featured which included a Muslim family enjoying the season, people have threatened to boycott Tesco.

Hah! The marketting tactics used by companies never cease to amaze me. One or more of them shoot themselves in the foot every year!
I actually sympathise a bit with the religionistas on this, the commercialisation of a few days, the (often unfulfilled) expectations, the peak in divorce applications . . . Judt let the believers get on with it and do your best to enjoy yourself and your family the whole bloody year!
A certain company's adverts were (when I had a TV) all I needed to alert me to the upcoming holiday and, er, get me into the seasonal spirit. Or maybe the seasonal spirit into me?
Oh, dear, another snag, try https://youtu.be/2FZuNALKt_0

It's not as if advertising is a giant atheist cabal subverting their faiths. Hell, when their traditions are taken -out- of advertising they're the first to scream bloody murder with war on christmas shit.
This -is- them "getting on with it".

I don't understand why this is upsetting theists.
1. Everything sausage that exists has an explanation of its existence (either in the necessity of its own nature or in an external cause).
2. If the sausage has an explanation of its existence, that explanation is God.
3. The sausage exists.
4. The sausage has an explanation of its existence.
5. Therefore, the explanation of the sausage's existence is God.
Ya need to get over it people.

Good point. Barring a few anchorites etc the whole xtian stoy has become industrialised and propagandarised. It has gained all the typical hype of a marketting campaign and the tactics of trying to gain the top market share.

The whisky however is good Yeah, like their cousins the pheasant. Working in an animal centre I just walked up and grabbed one, by the kegs, off the top of a post whilst he stood there wondering which way to fly off to escape. Ditto peacocks (just giant pheasants really), watched one try to outstare a fox - it got an extreme close-up view of fox tonsils before I could get there.
Sorry, derailing . . .
But, which has more sense, a grouse or a fundamentalist religionista?
