Charlie Rose may well be the world's biggest scumbag - actually the best he could ever hope to do is second behind the WLB - but what is pissing me off right now is that the media is fixated on him instead of worrying about the republicunts destroying the economy with their reverse robin hood tax bill, the demise of net neutrality, a maniac with control of the nuclear weapons ( yes, much as Bush feared, there is now a madman with a nuclear arsenal!), the US being the only country which has rejected the Paris Accords, incompetents being appointed to the federal bench, a pervert running for the senate with the WLB's endorsement, Putin running our elections, and the worst ethics violations in the history of the republic going on while they worry about what some old perv did with his dick.

How come all the men accused are ugly as fuck then?

I have a vagina, tits and some ovaries and I can tell you first hand that we women aren't automatically more likely to give a free pass to a man who is conventionally attractive but who is abusing his power (usually as a boss, and married too - as most of these abusers are) to force women into situations involving sex.

Put on a dress and some lipstick - heck, even keep your 5 o'clock shadow - and live as a woman for awhile and you'll see the insanity that passes for "normal" behavior towards women these days.

Sure, I agree with all that. What I'm saying is that ugly men are more likely to sexually harrass women. It's clear as day when you look at the list of men. So I never meant to imply that women were giving anyone a pass for being good looking.

Brian saying sexual harassment isn't about sex is patentently absurd though. We are human beings, everything is about sex, especially aggressive sexual behavior by ugly men towards attractive women.

No, Brian is correct about sexual harassment being about power. Look at the list of men (as you also mention above). Many are or were in positions of power over the women they harassed.
Roger Ailes - CEO of Fox News (also dead) harassed women who worked at the network under him. Say no and/ or go public and your job and career in the industry could be toast.  Bill Cosby - a Hollywood mover and shaker. Say no and/ or go public and your career in the industry could be toast. Harvey Weinstein - a Hollywood mover and shaker. Say no and/ or go public and your career in the industry could be toast. Bill Clinton - in the highest levels of government. Say no and/ or go public and your job and career could be toast.

These animals have gotten away with hassling talented women who just want to go into work, do their job and make a living, FFS. I don't have much hope that things will change much, though, even with this pervasive problem finally coming to light.

No, Brian is correct about sexual harassment being about power. Look at the list of men (as you also mention above). Many are or were in positions of power over the women they harassed.
