I just love watching these conservative Republicans on non-American media. These people are so accustomed to the dainty kid-gloves treatment they get from our corporate media where they get to talk about whatever they want and are only asked softball questions. Then they go on BBC, Al Jezera or some other foreign news source and get this deer-in-the-headlights look on their faces as the journalist has the audacity to ask real and pointed questions. They don't know how to handle it and usually whine that they're being treated "rudely". The word "rude" is bandied about commonly by these people, like a bunch of spoiled rich kids who think they're entitled to deference.

I love his surprise after she throws rude out there. "I am?"..lol. I would have busted out in laughter right there. Guess she forgot to stuff the right herbs in her christo-pagan voodoo doll that day.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!
Yeah, asking a question about something she actually did write about in her book - at an interview meant to promote that very book, is somehow "rude".
I just wanted to yell at her: "Answer the fucking question bitch! You're making all Americans look bad right now!" and simultaneously smack her in the back of the head. Rude. She has no idea what rude is. (August 18, 2011 at 10:26 am)Rhythm Wrote: I love his surprise after she throws rude out there. "I am?"..lol. Right. Just as American wack job right wingers have no concept what real journalism is like, non-American reporters are rightly surprised at what they expect. I wonder if people outside America are aware of just how docile our media has become in their treatment of the right wing?

I thought we were done with this wacko.
Even if the open windows of science at first make us shiver after the cozy indoor warmth of traditional humanizing myths, in the end the fresh air brings vigor, and the great spaces have a splendor of their own - Bertrand Russell
The American system breeds whackos. I don't know what the dumb cunt thinks people will do with her "book" once all the pictures are colored in.
But...just for old time's sake........
Sure, I wasn't doubting that, but DeistPaladin seemed to be under the impression that this was "non-American media", when technically it wasn't.
