Yule / Winter Solstice: I hang up a string of golden apples in the arch between the dining room and living room, in honour of Idunna (and with a nod and a wink to Eris, as well).
Christmas Eve (afternoon): I go out for a cappuccino, preferably to a mall so that I can watch the last-minute shoppers rush hither and yon. I forgot to mention our weird Inception-tree tradition. Tibs and I started taking a funny Christmas pic in front of our tree every year when he first moved here. We put the picture in an ornament every year. This was our fourth one doing that. Our fifth Christmas together total.
