RE: Why does science always upstage God?

Yeah, there are two problems with miracles:
1. Proving it happened
2. Proving that what happened wasn’t actually a natural event/phenomenon we haven’t yet encountered
Until both conditions are satisfied, believing that the origin of life on this planet is just like everything else - a natural phenomenon - is a justified assumption. Which is, of course, radically different than religious faith, given that, again, everything else we know about life on this planet adheres to natural processes.

Yeah but posers like Alpha need to try and lower everyone to his level . And desperately invent hypocrisies that only exist in his head . All the while whining that other people have not done his homework for him .
Seek strength, not to be greater than my brother, but to fight my greatest enemy -- myself.

The last refuge of comfortable ignorance lies in the assertion that everybody else is at least as dumb as the simpleton making the assertions.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

Ah! Found a good starting point.

There are dozens of starting points. None of them are particularly good until they lead to an ending point. We don't have any ending points.

That's good, because the strength is lacking. Yet, many atheists think it's all but proven, because they get their info from youtube and only pay lip service to perr reviewed science.

That's an utterly pathetic attitude towards science. Thank you, however, for letting me know that it's a waste of time sourcing documents for you.

I have no idea what his objective is with abiogenesis?
Is it allowing him to use it as another god of the gaps?
Again, binary thought in action. Science doesn't know, therefore God!
Pretty sad really when they need to resort to 4 billion year old mysteries.
At least he's not a YEC ... That would be ironically beautiful...

Yes, pulling up a 50-year-old doc when this began with your comment on the "current state of abiogenesis research" certainly was a waste of time.

IKR, fucking atheists! Why on earth would they imagine that life arose from organic chemistry just because life currently arises from organic chemistry? That doesn't even make sense!
It was obviously fairies.
I'm going to make a prediction, here, so that I can look back in a few years if/when we ever work out the specifics and laugh. Just as christers initially railed against the observation that life evolved because they didn;t like the proposed process...they will continue to do so for the observation that there is now life where once there was none.
Just as with evolutionary theory, when their opposition becomes a complete farce even to themselves..they will begin to claim, as they did with modern synth, that some process of abiogenesis x that we discover is "how god did it".
Why don't they just skip go and collect their $200 bucks?

I'm always amused by the statement that non-life cannot produce life. No atom in our bodies is alive. No molecule in our bodies is alive. And yet, life is made from those non-living molecules.
But the basics of biochemistry seem to be lost on them. Life *is* a chemical process.
