Anyway, as the title said, I'm curious to know from people's perspective here whether you consider it a sort of negative point against morality to believe in God. Is doing so immoral in your views? No need to get into details such as "well, it depends on what you believe about God and yadda yadda...."
...Just belief in God in and of itself. Is that an immoral thing?
Good question.

Yeah, just had a laparoscopy done a few days ago to address some issues. The surgery procedure pierces the abdominal muscles so movement is a bit painful for a while.
Hope you recover quickly and don't have too much pain, and also hope the medical professionals can get the info they need from it.

I would consider a few of the actions or beliefs that come packaged with certain religions immoral, however.
Do you think any actions or beliefs that come packaged with Christianity is immoral?

Yeah, encouraging Christians to turn the other cheek when being abused.

I think theists are moral in spite of their belief, so yes, true believers are de facto immoral in my view.
However, I've never met a true believer, and I think they are very few, since what people say they believe and how they behave is very different for everyone I've met. Like, they say prayer works, but still go to the doctor, that sort of thing.

Ouch. How much did you fart after? And did it smell like roses?
I burped a lot, but remember, I don't fart.
"Of course, everyone will claim they respect someone who tries to speak the truth, but in reality, this is a rare quality. Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."

That's probably the most moral thing you've ever said. hehehehe
Being told you're delusional does not necessarily mean you're mental.
