The trouble, ofc, is that strongly held religious beliefs strongly imply that the latter is not a reasonable expectation of the religious. They are compelled to involve you (commanded to do so by god, no less...and a funhouse version of their better human natures), and they would have to choose between their religious beliefs and shittifying a persons life in any conflict of interests.
