Roy Moore in 2011 said that women shouldn't run for office, and that if they run people have a duty to NOT vote for them.
Apparently Roy Moore is against women running in general. Especially from him. This guy is totally indefensible... yet Republicans will try.

If the parents want the priest to marry their teenage son . . . . .
nevermind

More than 200,000 children married in US over the last 15 years
In May, the high-profile Republican governor for New Jersey declined to sign into law a measure that would have made his state the first to ban child marriage without exception. Chris Christie claimed it would conflict with religious customs.

teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

As someone who got married at 12--I can safely say that marrying when you are that young even when pregnant--is NOT a good idea. I wish someone had told me that when I got married. But I was always told that's what you're SUPPOSED to do. And at age 12, who was I to question it?
I don't see the harm in waiting until you're 18 to get married. If you're REALLY in love, then when you turn 18 you get married. Or you get emancipated from your parents, and then get married at 16. What you don't do is get married before you become emancipated. If you're not fit to become emancipated, you aren't fit to be married. Doesn't matter if you're pregnant. Doesn't matter if your religion says so. Does it have some sort of expiry date? You already had sex before marriage.

To think these are the same assholes who scream bloody murder at the idea of gay marriage because they claim it would be a threat to children . Cry havoc at the idea that a child might see a mans dick in a changing room . Scream the house down about abortion . And would call Muslims savages for the same custom .

Quite a list of police, school, and governmental oversights to overlook and just rely on Jebus.
There were students texting during the attack that they knew it was Cruz. Total lack of surprise at who the perp was from the FBI down to the students sitting at their desks.

V. You keep saying the same thing over and over and no one is arguing.
It's the "L-ARGO" syndrome. Lots of people are Law-Abiding Responsible Gun Owners right up to the moment when they open fire on a shopping mall. At that point they BECOME criminals. At that point the police can intervene.
Do you really expect them to put 24 hour surveillance ( 3 shifts) a minimum of 6 deputies into a stakeout on one guy?

"The government should have taken his guns!"
Only they couldn't legally do that. Because as an 18 year old he has a right to own an entire fucking arsenal of weapons, and nobody can do a damn thing about it.
"They should have had him committed under the Baker ACt."
Nope. They tried--he didn't fit the criteria.
"They should have had him under surveillance!"
I really doubt they have the manpower to do it. Even if they did, he'd just wait until they stopped watching him to do it--because after a whole lot of nothing, the FBI is going to have to pull them.
