How do you make it up to your god, when you willingly go against what's in your holy book, in favor of cutting down someone, in order to feel superior to them?

The sad thing is that there are some really good questions here, but if asked in regular forums, the discussion would quickly turn to mockery and diversions. These questions would be well served by the proposed civil forum.

I think staff is currently under discussion for a trial run.
"Of course, everyone will claim they respect someone who tries to speak the truth, but in reality, this is a rare quality. Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."

I don't mean to be a dick when I ask this.
How do you rectify what should be an immense amount of stress that a Christian should feel knowing that whatever they do, they will never be "good enough?" As I understand it, to be a christian means to be in continual renewal of mind, body, and spirit (which I do not think is possible btw). While the problem of not being "perfect" might not be a problem felt explicitly by christians, I believe one of the core philosophies for why christians think atheist are atheists is because they want to be free from "responsibility" of the sin in their life. How does a christian rectify this in their own life?
And if I really want to get "out there" weird with it, I can ask how God can justify that because atheists simply want to rid themselves from a tieless and fruitless endeavor of renewal and as a result, be sent to hell?
But your individuality and your present need will be swept away by change,
and what you now ardently desire will one day become the object of abhorrence.

What do you think your roles would be if this were a forum for another religion? Would you even join a jewish, muslim, hindu, ............ forum?

Do you prefer debating on an atheist forum rather than a christian forum because it's not a matter of comparing each other's subjective interpretations of the same text with no way of determining which is correct?

Why weren't the Muslims and Jews invited to your thread? After all, Islam and Judaism are also monotheistic Abrahamic religions, which is about the only thing you can say about all of Christianity's sects and cults. Is it because you think the only alternative to atheism is your own brand of theism?
