Magic book tells us that the reason that you aren;t healed is a weakness of faith. Perhaps you should spend more time cultivating your faith and less time bullshitting other people about ID?

God wills you to be happy, healthy, and whole...you;re the only one getting in the way of that.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

Sorry but hard for me to take serious infidels.org as a citation.  Seems biased to me.  No matter what I post you try to refute it.

That's how we feel about your fucking bible.

Nonetheless, something you said reminded me of this passage.

Quote:Fifty years after the Persian Wars ended in 479 BC Herodotus the Halicarnassian asked numerous eyewitnesses and their children about the things that happened in those years and then wrote a book about it. Though he often shows a critical and skeptical mind, sometimes naming his sources or even questioning their reliability when he has suspicious or conflicting accounts, he nevertheless reports without a hint of doubt that the temple of Delphi magically defended itself with animated armaments, lightning bolts, and collapsing cliffs; the sacred olive Fifty years after the Persian Wars ended in 479 BC Herodotus the Halicarnassian asked numerous eyewitnesses and their children about the things that happened in those years and then wrote a book about it. Though he often shows a critical and skeptical mind, sometimes naming his sources or even questioning their reliability when he has suspicious or conflicting accounts, he nevertheless reports without a hint of doubt that the temple of Delphi magically defended itself with animated armaments, lightning bolts, and collapsing cliffs; the sacred olive tree of Athens, though burned by the Persians, grew a new shoot an arm's length in a single day; a miraculous flood-tide wiped out an entire Persian contingent after they desecrated an image of Poseidon; a horse gave birth to a rabbit; and a whole town witnessed a mass resurrection of cooked fish!

Do you believe these things happened? Well, why not? Herodotus was an educated man, a critical historian, and he consulted eyewitnesses, and he clearly saw nothing to doubt in these events.1 So why should we? If you're smart, reasonably educated, and honest, you'll have to admit your doubts here are rather strong. And I'm sure if someone came knocking on your door, insisting these things were true, you'd defend your doubts as entirely reasonable.

So what say you?  Do you accept the reported miracles by Herodotus?

I spend a lot of time reading the Bible and I am familiar with the faith portion of healing.  It also has to fall into God's divine plan whether you are healed or not.  He may have a purpose for my aliments that I am not even aware of or it could just be do to my sin.

God does want us to find joy in this life, I agree (after we repent of course) but we also have to play the cards we are dealt.

Oh that's not even best example of such a myth/. There are lots of myth of charters being "witnessed " to do grand things and even historians to boast of it . Because just because your a historian does not mean you don't believe in the culture myths of your time . Many Roman historians accepted the tale Romulus and Remus as historic fact

Clearly not enough time, you're still broken and you;re still here.  You could have your nose buried in magic book right now. You'd have to be balls to the wall crazy to believe that god and magic book could heal you...and yet spend your time doing anything else. You don;t actually believe it, though. That much just oozes out of you, lol.

Maybe the point of your illness is to get you to stop bullshitting people about him? Maybe your sin..is hubris?

No, I do not believe in pagan gods.  Their creation stories are like fairy tales.

I enjoy discussing these things.  I read the Bible as I type on here often, just looking at different verses and what not.

Maybe not, but the point is that unlike bible bullshit we know the name of the historian and have examples where he has questioned sources.  Livy does the same thing.  He reports the tale but frequently casts doubt on the rather idiotic mythic elements.  We get no such objectivity from whoever wrote the so-called gospels.

If you say so. Posting here can;t heal you..though, so you appear to be wasting about half of your time.
