The witness argument (yet again, I know, I know)
#51
RE: The witness argument (yet again, I know, I know)
With regards to a deity, the only acceptable proof that will ever be good enough will come in the form of scientific evidence. In other words, the deity you believe in should be able to be proven scientifically, with methods based on observation and not opinion.

If you cannot produce that which you believe, in an acceptable form, that is not based on your opinion or your personal beliefs, then you will forever lose this argument.

If you had proven god's existence, you wouldn't contradict yourself in the next breath by stating we need to simply accept him on faith.

Faith not based on proof is no faith at all.  The praised belief or faith or trust in Quran is that which is upon clear insight and proof which is acquired through reflection.

The definition of faith discloses that there is no proof or evidence. It is why if there was any real proof or evidence, there would be no need for faith.

What definition does that come from? Classical language or butchered language of our dark times?

If god was real, he wouldn't need others to do his work. As he would be all encompassing, all everything, everywhere, at once and there wouldn't be a need for "messengers". He would be perfectly capable of sending out his own damn messages. Involvement of people would be unnecessary. Also - there would be no other forms of religion, no beliefs in other deities. There would be absolutely no question in anyone's mind that a god exists.

But none of this will ever happen. If it hasn't already, it never will. And no amount of the religious trying to convince us of that will ever work. So really, can y'all just knock it off already?

There is problems that occur with this method with God directly talking to or sending Angels to all humans. The problems are not insignificant, they are greatly significant, and are best explained in the Quran.
