Not watering plants during the summer day is a myth!

RE: Not watering plants during the summer day is a myth!
I have some "sentinels" that start drooping right away when too dry. Usually around 1 pm on hot days, and then again around 6 pm. So I drip around those times and they go into the night all perky and wake up that way too.

Sons a bitches. Just what the hell do they expect from a god?

Us, too, for the first time!  It was 90+ today and hot & sunny; first time during our 20+ year marriage, but I am glad that this is one myth that has died a quick and painless death!

My cat sometimes runs out of water without me realizing it; imagine me having to water plants.

I like to water plants whenever it will do the most damage, so I won't have to water them any more.  Where is the scientific research on how to kill plants while pretending to nurture them?

Buy cactuses...cacti...whatever the plural of cactus is and water all day, every day. You're welcome. Wink

In Kentucky there is a lot of condensation overnight. Watering in the evening or night can lead to mildew. Mornings are best.

Subsurface irrigation.  Water whenever you want.  Grow zuchs as big as your arm.

My third wife was determined to cure my "Black Thumb". She tried various plants, including cacti, they all died. So I come one day and there's plastic ivy draped over my computer hutch. The next morning half the leaves had fallen off the artificial vines. She gave up.
