President knew about tower meeting.

I think if they can prove he knew about the tower meeting, it would show collusion with Russia, it would also make a strong case for obstruction. They probably wouldn't be able to arrest Trump but impeachment would be likely. Trump Jr. could be in some legal hot water because I think he already testified that his dad didnt know about the meeting. To me it seems crazy that Don Jr. would hold a meeting at Trump Tower with Russia, about Hilary Clinton, During his fathers campaign and Trump had no knowledge that it was going on.

Maybe, that's what they are doing now but I think being able to prove that Trump knew about the meeting will may change their tune.

No they would somehow make this ok. It does not suit them to have Trump actually be ousted so they will rearrange reality to make it fit their desires. 
They do it with their religion and Trump seems to have been latched onto that somehow.
